# Reel4Life

> Reel4Life is an app for collecting memories of a person from their family and friends: short videos, voice notes, photos, stories and quotes. It turns them into a film set to music, to play at a funeral, memorial, birthday, wedding, retirement or any occasion, and a hardcover photo book to keep. The organiser invites people from the iPhone or Android app; contributors can add memories from any web browser without the app or an account. Making and previewing is free. Unlocking the full-quality film and book costs A$14.99 (about US$10) per event, paid once by the organiser. Contributors never pay.

- **Free to try:** Creating an event, inviting people, gathering memories and previewing the film and book are free. Previews are watermarked.
- **What people share:** Video messages (up to 2 minutes), voice notes, photos with captions and years, written stories, and one line for the book.
- **Contributors:** No app, account or password needed: they open their invite link in any browser. The app is optional.
- **Different questions:** Each contributor picks from three questions chosen for how they know the person. Most questions can only be answered once, so the stories don't repeat.
- **The film:** Full HD (1080p), set to music, 3 to 12 minutes long. Quotes are always the contributors' own words; nothing is invented.
- **The book:** A hardcover photo book of the photos and quotes (no video): a print-ready PDF comes with the unlock, and printed copies can be ordered.
- **Printed books:** Printed in the lab nearest the recipient and posted to their door in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada and parts of Europe. Priced at checkout, with postage at cost. Contributors can order copies too.
- **Playing it on the day:** AirPlay, Chromecast or a cable to any TV or projector, or save the file to a phone or laptop.
- **Privacy:** Only the organiser sees every contribution. Each contributor sees what they shared. Nothing is public.
- **Platforms:** iPhone and Android apps for organisers; any modern web browser for contributors.
